Amanda Quaine joined Cleveland & Co in early 2021 as our Head of Funds. In this role, Amanda oversees client relationships as well as works on all investment management related agreements, leveraging her expertise to provide technical advice to clients with respect to our practice focused on Investment Funds.
Amanda is a dual-qualified lawyer with extensive experience in the banking and finance sector. She qualified as a solicitor and barrister in Victoria, Australia, in 1998, before qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2003. She started out working for a top-tier law firm in Australia and has worked as in-house counsel for big financial institutions and asset managers. She has experience in corporate governance as well as front, middle and back office functions of investment management.
In advising clients, Amanda adopts a pragmatic and commercial approach to achieve desired outcomes, whilst minimising legal risk to, and protecting the interests of, her clients. When she’s not using her superpowers to see into the future and keep her clients 2 steps ahead, she’s out travelling anywhere she can hike, camp, paddle and catch a glimpse of the local wildlife.
